Terms of Use
Last updated: March 14, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Easy Chat (“the Service”). By registering an account or embedding the chat widget on your website, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
1. What Easy Chat Is
Easy Chat is a platform that lets you build and deploy AI-powered chat agents on your website. You upload documents, configure agents, and embed a widget. Your visitors interact with those agents through the widget.
We provide the infrastructure. You control the content, the agents, and how they behave.
2. Your Account
To use Easy Chat you must register with a valid email address. You are responsible for:
- keeping your login credentials secure
- all activity that happens under your account
- ensuring the people in your organization who use the dashboard comply with these terms
If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately at [email protected].
3. Acceptable Use
You may use Easy Chat for any lawful business purpose. You may not use it to:
- distribute illegal, harmful, or fraudulent content through your chat widget
- impersonate other people or organizations
- attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or attack the platform
- build agents that collect sensitive personal data without proper disclosure to your users (health records, payment card numbers, government IDs, etc.)
- violate any applicable law or regulation
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules, with or without prior notice depending on severity.
4. Your Content
You retain full ownership of the documents, knowledge bases, and configurations you create in Easy Chat. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store and process it solely for the purpose of running the Service for you.
We do not use your content to train AI models. We do not sell your content. We do not share it with third parties except as required to operate the Service (e.g., the underlying LLM provider processes text to generate responses).
5. The Chat Widget and Your Visitors
When you embed the Easy Chat widget on your website, your visitors interact with your agents. You are responsible for:
- informing your visitors that they are talking to an AI
- ensuring your use of the widget complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction
- the accuracy and appropriateness of the content in your knowledge base
Easy Chat provides the technology. The relationship with your website visitors is yours.
6. Token Usage and Billing
The Service is billed based on token consumption. Tokens are used each time an agent processes a message.
- Free tier: 500,000 tokens included at no charge
- Paid usage: charged at $6 per 1,000,000 tokens, prepaid by top-up
Tokens are non-refundable once consumed. Unused prepaid tokens do not expire. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice.
7. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, apply updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime.
8. Intellectual Property
Easy Chat and its underlying technology are owned by us. These terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you beyond the right to use the Service as described.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is”. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, reliability, or fitness of agent responses for any particular purpose.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Easy Chat’s liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data is deleted.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. If the changes are material, we’ll notify you by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Delware, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Dover, USA.
